update

Friends -

As some of you know, the past month I have been in the process of interviewing for a missions coordinator job at Second Baptist Church in Little Rock Arkansas.

We were not looking to leave ABQ when we received an unexpected phone call asking us to apply. We said sure. Two weeks ago, we visited there in lieu of a possible position. We went and fell in love with the church.

This evening I received a call from the Pastor, Matt Cook, at Second Baptist. The staff met a week ago, the personnel committee met tonight, and both groups unanimously decided that we would be a great fit there. We will fly to LR May 16, to hammer out some final details and to begin looking for a house. Our expected departure date from Albuquerque is July 1st.

For those of you who were references, thank you. If not for those kind references, this would not have happened. In addition, thanks to those of you who have been faithfully keeping Liz and I in your prayers, those prayers mean have meant so much to us.

Again, thanks for all your prayers. We are so excited about this opportunity and look forward to sharing our future with you.
